In the small Bavarian town of Bad Aibling, almost on the Austrian border, talented artist Frau Henkenjohann (and her team) hand block antique linens creating exquisite pieces for your home. In German, the process is known as “Blaudruck” or blueprint. The crafts people take the antique fabric and dye and hand block the patterns on each. These runners feature typical Alpine mountain patterns of blooming flowers and tiny dots. Each runner is antique linen dyed and hand blocked. Limted quantities.
Made in Germany.
Size: 36” x 17”
Features: 100-percent linen from 1900-1915. Machine wash in warm water. Line dry.
